Toyann McPhoy King

ASSOCIATE PARTNER AND HEAD OF RECRUITMENT

Toyann is a Senior Partner and Head of Recruitment at WB&B Executive Search where she leads executive and managerial level cross-industry recruitment efforts to identify top performers for corporate and non-profit clients. She has been integral toward the development of best-in-class prospect and candidate engagement that has contributed to the firm’s client satisfaction metrics.

Working diligently to research, identify, screen/assess, and present stellar talent to WB&B’s corporate clients, Toyann serves as a business partner and an advocate of equal opportunity for both employee and employer progression, identifying candidates that will become a value-add and instrumental to organizations -- particularly during company-wide transformation/re-engineering efforts. Among the functions she is experienced in are information technology, quality, manufacturing operations, supply chain, communications among others.

Prior to assuming this role, Toyann served as Program Director at Veterans Across America, a not-for-profit organization whose mission was to secure gainful employment to transitioning and prior-service military professionals.

Toyann earned a Bachelor degree cum laude in Sociology and specialization in Children’s Studies from Brooklyn College in New York City. Originally from Guyana, South America, Toyann has personally and professionally applied her vision for cultural and workplace diversity to her recruitment efforts. In addition, her mentorship of minority youth groups in the Richland County church community in South Carolina is a testament of her value of knowledge transfer and youth empowerment, building and grooming tomorrow’s leaders today.
